What I've learned
While living in Utah and going to college I have learned so much, from how to scrap ice off of my car to not to eat at Betos. I have also learned that when going to bed at 2 in the morning a 9:00 in the morning class is very hard to get to. It didn't seem like getting up for a 9:00 class would be hard, but when you live with 5 other girls it's hard to get to bed early. I have learned that a coat is probably my most important item of clothing that I have, I am pretty sure I would have froze to death by now if I didn't have it. I have learned to be grateful for heating.. because it's to expensive for us to use ours. I have learned how much my mom really does for me... getting sick while living on your own really sucks. I have learned that if the fridge is full and you just made a big bowl of pudding put some tinfoil over it and put it on your front step and it works just like fridge. I have mastered the art of walking on ice and not slipping and falling on my butt in front of a big crowd, it took me a few times but I finally figured it out. I have learned that no matter what ward I switch the the boy to girl ratio is always horrible, for example this is ward is a ratio of, for every 4 girls there is 1 boy... yup lucky boys. I have learned that just because the sun is out when you wake up and go to class doesn't mean it won't be snowing when you are done with class an hour later.. be prepared for anything.

Hey you joined the club! :) Ya, I agree with everything. Winter sucks.
ReplyDeleteI remember those things when I first moved to Utah. It gets better over time :) My first year at school I would be bundled up in 5 different layers of clothes just to keep warm. My roommates (who were all from Utah) would laugh at me and walk around the apartment in shorts... i thought they were crazy :)
ReplyDeleteHave fun with life! (Even if there is a 4-1 ratio):)
love you,
